Long Term Care Tax Workshop

Kent, Seattle Southside, and Renton Chambers of Commerce are excited to partner with SEL to host a letter-writing boot camp on Friday, August 13 to address the new long-term care tax in Washington State.

From SEL: Want to learn more about the new long-term care (LTC) tax? There’s a number of issues with how the law is written, and how the program will work. We will provide a brief overview, then share how to write a letter to our Washington State Legislature and Governor to voice your concerns.



The LTC tax will take effect January 1, 2022 – unless we spread the word! We are asking that Governor Inslee repeal – or at the very least, delay implementation – of this new tax. There is strength in numbers, and we must teach our legislators who passed a poorly drafted bill what the real impact on employees will be.
