Burien Clean Sweep

It’s time again to tackle the trash and beautify our city during Discover Burien’s annual Burien Clean Sweep! The event starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, and is generously sponsored by Recology Cleanscapes and the City of Burien.
 
From 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., volunteers will be picking up litter, eliminating graffiti, and sweeping sidewalks in the Burien Community.
 
Complimentary breakfast will be served as we begin at the new Fire Station No. 2 at 900 SW 146th St, along with a hot dog lunch in the afternoon to thank the volunteers. Participants will also receive a ticket to enter to win prizes and giveaways. Winners will be announced at the end of the event! The top prize this year is a bicycle, generously sponsored by Collins Chiropractic.
 
Help us out and bring your bulky items to the Municipal Parking Lot, located at 631 SW 151st St in Downtown Burien from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., and dump your large unwanted items.
