Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound launches their first ever Big Rappel Thrill-Seekers Descend Seattle's Skyline for Youth Mentorship On July 12th & 13th, 2024, 50 daring participants will rappel down 43 stories of one of Seattle's tallest buildings. Gone are the days when fundraising in Seattle felt like scaling insurmountable heights. This event promises a breathtaking experience as 50 daring participants prepare to rappel 43 stories down one of the 25 tallest buildings in the city. The BIG Rappel isn't just about the adrenaline rush; it's a powerful testament to the community's commitment to supporting youth mentorship. Each participant embarks on this thrilling journey with a mission - to raise a minimum of $1,500 in donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound. This isn't your average fundraising event; it's an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of local children and families. With every descent down the towering facade, participants are paving the way for brighter futures and stronger communities. The BIG Rappel is a two day-long event, which runs Friday, for all media coverage & VIP Rappelers and Saturday for 8 hours at 1000 2nd Ave. Family, friends and spectators are invited to come down and support participants, enjoy a live DJ and support local businesses.
