2023 SEA Airport Luncheon
The annual SEA Airport Luncheon is our yearly intersection of the Chamber community and the Port of Seattle. As a major player in the Seattle Southside economy, the Port is vital to the success of our business community.
Join us to hear from Lance Lyttle, SEA Managing Director, about the latest regarding Seattle-Tacoma International Airport including the more than $4.5 billion investment to enhance the travel experience from curb to gate.
Additionally enjoy an Economist Panel Discussion with Alaska Airlines, Port of Seattle, and Explore Seattle Southside followed by a recognition of our amazing Hospitality Heroes presented by Explore Seattle Southside CEO Mark Everton.
Don't forget to register for the exclusive airport tour after the luncheon highlighting current SEA Gateway Projects including the reconfiguration of the terminal’s north end ticketing area and the relocation and expansion of security checkpoint one. The tour will occur from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM.

Our Land Acknowledgment:
As we gather, we respectfully acknowledge that our event is taking place on occupied Coast Salish land and that Seattle Southside Chamber is on the homelands of the Duwamish people. We pay respect to Coast Salish Elders past and present and extend that respect to their descendants and to all Indigenous people.
Why do we recognize the land?
To recognize the land is an expression of gratitude and appreciation to those whose territory you reside on and a way of honoring the Indigenous people who have been living and working on the land from time immemorial. It is important to understand the long-standing history that has brought you to reside on the land and to seek to understand your place within that history. Land acknowledgments do not exist in a past tense or historical context: colonialism is a current ongoing process, and we need to build the mindfulness of our present participation. It is also worth noting that acknowledging the land is Indigenous protocol.
