Let's Do the Time Warp — Again! Rocky Horror Adds a Third Show as Des Moines Gets Ready to Sell Out the House

1st Annual Rocky Horror Picture Show now runs October 23, 24 and 25 at the Des Moines Theater, with a 2027 season already in the works

DES MOINES, WASH. — October 15, 2026 — Fishnets, ready. Rice Popcorn, ready. Des Moines, ready? The 1st Annual Rocky Horror Picture Show has added a third performance! A Sunday matinee on October 25 now joins Friday and Saturday nights at the Des Moines Theater.

Hosted by Mary Cockins of Haus Of Mary Opal, presented with GPSBA, in partnership with The Des Moines Theater, the event kicks off with some fabulous performers from the Greater Puget Sound/Cascadia region, followed by a fully-licensed screening of the show - with prop bags available for purchase at the door! Our Sunday show pairs the cult-classic film with a full live shadow cast. Expect call-backs, confetti, costumes and the kind of audience participation that turns strangers into a chorus line.
