In partnership with the Highline Medical Center and the Highline Medical Center Foundation, the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a Public Safety event for residents and business owners in the Southside region. Attendees will enjoy this FREE opportunity to hear from industry experts on how to better manage their own personal safety both at home and at work.
Following an opening networking reception, Melissa Fleherty, Pharmacy Director for Highline Medical Center, will share information regarding safe disposal for medications and the new take-back kiosk on the medical center’s campus. In addition, Ted Boe, Chief of Police for the City of Burien, will offer a presentation on crime prevention through environmental design. We'll also be joined by Vic Pennington, incoming South King County Fire Chief. The evening will wrap up with a Q&A panel discussion with all three speakers, followed by coffee and refreshments.
