DESCRIPTION:This training discusses the value and characteristics of effective collaborations. Participants discuss strategies for strengthening existing collaborations and identifying new networks\, stakeholders\, and opportunities for new collaborative partnerships. Participants are introduced to frameworks for community collaboration and learn concrete skills and tools for establishing and strengthening collaborative partnerships including facilitating conversations to establish shared goals\, navigating conflict\, and strengthening cross-cultural collaborations. By the end of the training\, participants will have:\n\n-          Knowledge of characteristics of effective collaborations\n\n-          Knowledge of approaches to establish shared values\, vision\, and goals\n\n-          Confidence to navigate conflict as it arises\n\n-          Skill to facilitate group decision-making processes\n\n-          Awareness of considerations for cross-cultural collaborations
