DESCRIPTION:Kent\, Seattle Southside\, and Renton Chambers of Commerce are excited to partner with SEL to host a letter-writing boot camp on Friday\, August 13 to address the new long-term care tax in Washington State.\n\n\n\nFrom SEL: Want to learn more about the new long-term care (LTC) tax? There's a number of issues with how the law is written\, and how the program will work. We will provide a brief overview\, then share how to write a letter to our Washington State Legislature and Governor to voice your concerns.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe LTC tax will take effect January 1\, 2022   unless we spread the word! We are asking that Governor Inslee repeal   or at the very least\, delay implementation   of this new tax. There is strength in numbers\, and we must teach our legislators who passed a poorly drafted bill what the real impact on employees will be.\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister Here
