DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Community Planning for Disaster Recovery course. FEMA certified. Disaster Recovery is a complex\, costly\, and potentially lengthy process. Depending on the scope of a disaster\, recovery efforts can last years and cost millions of dollars. Planning has a direct positive impact on a community's ability to recover from disasters. Planning for disaster recovery before disasters occur can significantly speed up and facilitate the post-disaster recovery process.\n\nCommunity Planning for Disaster Recovery is an eight-hour awareness-level course that provides facilitated discussions on key concepts for disaster recovery planning\, including the benefits of pre-disaster planning\, key elements\, and the plan development process.
